There are dumb mistakes/unfortunate events made by players in every game - nobody’s perfect - but if the tactics don’t give u the best chance of winning the game then these mistakes are much more costly

Ok - so if there’s no mistakes Mo’s goal still happens and we win 1-0 - that’s not how football works

Yeah - my point exactly. If we try to win the game from the start they don’t become crucial

Ok - fair enough- it’s not all on Slot. But the tactics are stifling them all over the pitch. Virg is on the way to being done, Mo is done which doesn’t help. But Slot’s tactics are all over the place - and the initial tactic is don’t lose rather than go for the win

Players are shackled by tactics- it’s all on Slot. Starting tactic is don’t lose and has been since the bad run after first 5 games

I’ve watched it back. I suggest you watch Ali’s kicks in recent games - don’t know whether he’s protecting hamstrings but he scuffs so many of them

So just because we’re not 17th like under Hodgson - these tactics are acceptable ?

But the players are restricted by the tactics - sent out not to lose instead of being sent out to win

I think that run early in the season broke Slot. Far too concerned with not losing games rather than trying to win them

I don’t agree - if you’re in the corner under pressure your goalie is the out ball - if he kicks it properly- he had enough time

Ali had plenty of time - but his kicking has been dreadful for ages

Worse - because refs have come to rely on VAR. The cynic in me says they were deliberately bad to prove we need VAR. I’d still bin it - refs would improve without it - and it doesn’t provide enough benefit to outweigh the negatives

Creating chances - really ? Apart from Burnley we’ve hardly created anything - and are so open at the back. Even Barnsley carved us open
