A Johnson's Jumping Spider on a fritillary butterfly. The spider is black with a red abdomen except for a black stripe down the middle. The butterfly is white and orange. The image is shot fairly close up and through some greenery.

I believe that the female Johnson's Jumping spider in this image is eating the non-native gulf fritillary. This was just in my front yard this afternoon.

The sky looks so clear and peaceful especially that warm sunset glow and the bright daytime clouds. This kind of weather is what makes The Gambia special: mostly sunny, warm, and calm almost every day..?
