Thank you to Haarlem Art Space, Wirksworth for exhibition my work, "Existence in a Non-Dead World". This was created by digitally layering 2 35mm photos and printing on acetate.
It explores pandispositionalism and the idea that all objects have the power bring about change in the world.

This July, a new #art #exhibition ‘3/4 Humours’ will explore the archaic theory of the Four Humours, once thought to govern not only the body, but our temperament and wellbeing. #Artists: Kerry Langsdale, Benjamin Rostance, Mark Walker

In fairness to Jupiter, with the way things are going, if I were Earth's neighbour I'd chuck rocks at us too.

I see what you mean, but it hasn't been rewritten. It's more that it gives a different, feminist perspective, so Julia is a fully realised character, with a life, experiences and difficulties of her own, rather than just being the 2d "rebel from the waist down" caricature she is in 1984.

After reading 1984 I highly recommend reading Julia by Sandra Newman. A retelling of 1984 from the perspective of the main female protagonist. It's in keeping with the original text and offers a lot more food for thought

I've been learning ceramics to eventually make a series of clepsydra. #Clepsydra are water #clocks, the oldest of which was created in Egypt approx 3500 thousand years ago! It's basically a pot, with a hole at the bottom which you fill with water, the water drains out, passing #time markers

I took a trip there last week in anticipation of a new series I'm starting which details the #history and #politics of #timekeeping.

I started TAoTP in 2022, while working towards my #PhD in #philosophy. My aim is to explore #time and #temporality by employing a #collaborative, #interdisciplinary approach. I love finding new people to (1/2)

I tour the #MakingTime workshop around the UK. I share my #research, we talk through ideas, and we attempt to communicate our intuitions about #time by employing various creative mediums. It's popular with artists, but it's not exclusively for artists, and many different people join us.

The longest running public engagement piece of #TheArtOfTimeProject is 'Making Time'. Open to anyone with little-to-no experience of philosophy, this workshop encourages participants to explore their intuitions about the nature of time.
