Getting closer... gonna polish up the render and add some outlines now!

To be fair, this is kind of a simplified version of other drawing exercises where you put dots on paper and try to connect them in a straight line or try hitting a drawn square right in the center by drawing an X, so I didn't fully come up with this myself either!

One exercise I do everyday is putting some random shapes on MS Paint and making sure I can trace them easily with first try.

Not only does it help with hand-eye coordination, but also makes sure that your pen tablet and monitor are parallel to each other! (I adjust mine a lot)

Once and once again I get offended by the fact that I can't finish something or draw something ACTUALLY well. Not sad, not disappointed, but straight up offended.

Maybe that's why so many successful artists have a big ego? Because it makes them more determined, since they can't let this stuff go? 🤔

Sometimes you just need a break!

I would not be as energetic and eager to draw something today if I tried so squeeze myself out yesterday when I wasn't in the mood for art!

Just casually collecting some refs for one of Pekora's pieces of clothing, absolutely nothing special to see here 🥴

Never really thought of this, but one of the keys to finishing art is just... letting things go?

Sometimes I see art that doesn't exactly have the proportions and anatomy right, but it's still pretty anyway!

I respect people who post things while knowing that the art could be better, so go for it!

Drawing anime eyes from the front in 5 steps:

1. Draw an oval (can be imperfect)
2. Draw a WEIRD CRAB UFO!!!!
3. Fill in crab ufo, add circle below
4. Add triangular eyeliner above and a short one below
5. Shade the upper half of the eye, add an eyelid line above and some tiny lashes

6. Eyes done!

now pekomama on the other hand would be a bit harder to draw since her design has a few more aspects to take care of 👀

I feel like I haven't *properly* 100% or even 90% finished any art ever since I started drawing :(

So I wanna start leaning into my artistic strengths instead of hitting a wall every time and stopping
