@finalwhistle.bsky.social do you know if the women's game will be on ifollow or YouTube tomorrow? #askwxm

If the nominated player is substituted or sent off, another player must be nominated
As mentioned it seems very rarely followed however there are laws around it
As per ifab:
Where the goalkeeper is the captain, the referee must be told, no later than at the coin toss before kick-off, which player is nominated to approach the referee instead of the goalkeeper
Only the goalkeeper or the nominated player, not both, may approach the referee
Re: keepers going down for tactical reasons, I've heard having another outfield players having to be taken off the pitch for the 30s or not letting players approach the sidelines or manager be floated (but with the latter I assume messages would be passed via the physio) #askwrexham
This is what I get for trying to be responsible at work...
Hm, I'm not using the app - do you know if it's stereo or not? I'm at work and only have one earbud in so I can keep an ear out for coworkers, so now wondering she's in my other earphone
@finalwhistle.bsky.social not sure if someone is on co-comms at this academy game or not, but i am only getting you on the commentary #askwxm
@finalwhistle.bsky.social does Del have any fond memories she can share about Matt Beard (RIP) #askwxm
The badge looks like a lamprey mouth and nothing will convince me otherwise

YOU'RE GOING TO WEMBLEY, QUE SERA SERA
If parky continues to line up like this because he insists on playing Dobson and James together, it will continue to fail, because of the lack of link up play - jrod is too deep to try and be that link and Smith is isolated.
I am not sure jrod is the issue that people seem to think. We are lining up like we did when palmer was up front and Lee behind, except it's Smith up top with Rodriguez behind. It isn't a flat 2 up front like before. Not sure Palmer would have been great in that role either.
List of teams that have FAW tier 1 licence (aberystwyth tow , barry town, briton ferry, cardiff city, cardiff met, Connie's quay, pontypridd, swansea, tns) and those refused. Among the refused is Wrexham due to infrastructure criteria
The clubs refused a licence have 10 days to submit an appeal
Hey so we gonna talk about how the #wrexhamafc women may finish 3rd but could still be kicked out of tier 1 if they don't win their appeal? #askwxm
I've not made up my mind with JRod it feels like he's playing behind Smith to help link up since we have 2 DMs on but I feel like it reduces the attacking threat. Idk. Easy solution would be one of Dobbo or James and have Lee and let JRod play higher up, but we aren't doing that.
Some lukewarm takes - disappointed Lee missed, but it never should have come down to that. We should have put them away early. It's difficult to hold a 1 goal lead, but against a team that needs wins is risky. After the first 30 minutes we let them back into the game.
By all means, let the opponents stay in the game, you know how that thrills me #wrexhamafc
I mean, as a Canadian I'm hopeful for us...though wondering if David should join our diving team...
Feels weird to only have one midfielder on the bench. Guess James comes on if we need to defend a lead. That being said, I prefer this midfield over the James-Dobson-Rathbone one.
Unrelated to the player performances, but on the broadcast the crowd seemed very quiet, or in the second half, incredibly edgy. While I get there wasn't a lot to cheer about, the negative mood definitely came across.
Rathbone may have been the bright spot, and we are ruing not having a backup CAM.
Uh, we are real people, not some weird thought experiment. Do better.
Could be reaching but was it the last game Arthur played the one where he ran into the upright? Could be why he isnt starting. Otherwise I think, he should have got the nod. If this was a home match I'd be unimpressed with the midfield since it seems to miss any creativity and is a bit defensive.
Lot of players on the naughty step today
In 2023 there were 65,000 Londoners without a family doctor. That number grew to 83,000 in 2024, and is now 128,000 - yet Doug Ford waits until a snap election to finally announce a primary care plan. #LdnOnt #onpoli #onhealth 🧵
It’s official: Doug Ford quit on Ontario today. So I’m here to apply for his job.
In the next few weeks, we can turn the page on seven long years of failure, corruption, and bad deals.
You deserve a better government. With your support, I’ll be a Premier that’s on your side.

In theory would be good, but i don't know how you get him out of Reading since they are under an embargo and can't sign anyone to to replace him - I'm sure they don't want to lose him
It's like a hangover after the energy last week. It's brutal to watch.
Feels like crowd and team are flat today, after the big game last Thursday
