I have seen enough movies and read enough books to know not to open the portal....

Not just a jury...literally everyone, including Met and Youtube themselves.

"Amongst... concerns over the #health effects of long-term occupational exposure to #RF in the telecommunication and broadcast sector it is important not to overlook ... exposure to #ultraviolet #radiation in a workforce that predominantly works outside. "

'Cause of the"lyca-ocrasy".
There is literally no topic the #DailyMail can't be wrong and a d**k about:

Whats the point of conducting a new scoping review on #powerlines and #health (ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/114...), when abundant systematic reviews, meta-analyses and other syntheses already exist?
....shockingly, same results as those.
Not a great, quite biased, article on #RF #EMF #health and #safety by Lin:

Good Commentary pointing this out:

Pretty rude response:

I had my first "oh you work in public health. So you are one of these people who still believe in germ theory" conversation.
Awkward
This is all very reassuring, going forward 😬
We found big gaps in use of 2 effective, cheap, simple #antenatal treatments to protect #preterm babies. In theory they should be accessible to all mothers, in all resource settings. About 3/4 eligible mothers get them in richer countries, but only about 1/2 in poorer countries bit.ly/40sNIon
Interesting. Discussion about a new book on the #nocebo effect. #Health effects people doing #research on #electrohypersensitivity ( #EHS) and other environmental diseases come across regularly (disclaimer: sometimes, it could be the real thing. of course):

Well thats an unexpected expected development in #havanasyndrome world:

This is interesting on #RF #EMF and #cancer in #WHO review. The way I read it, is that they asked the lead researcher to stick to the protocol....which they didn't.

How the WHO is misleading the public about so-called alternative medicine (SCAM) edzardernst.com/2026/01/how-...
Good point indeed.
Not much, no. Generally speaking. There advice is around study and analytic design, and to sense-check inferences.
Thats not how that works at all.
You know they were on the advisory committee right, and didnt actually conduct the study ?!
...would have been useful had US NTP actually published their results in the peer-reviewed literature, rather than leave it at a report only reviewed internally.
Not much exciting I suspect. I dont know why the results werent combined, but you can easily do that yourself. Even powered as initially intended (140 male rats per group) there is absolutely nothing there.
It will be interesting to see what conspiracies will be brought forward.
...in shocking news.
"A number of letters to the editor of the journal are being prepared, Microwave News has been told."
Activism is a hard job when the results don't go your way 🤷♂️
After the Japanese study the Korean study now also does not confirm the US #NTP study results on carcinogenic risk from #celphones #RF; being the 2nd of 2 (kind of) replication studies. Even combined there is nothing there....

Well said by Prof Ken Foster.
It is nice to, together with Prof Kromhout, be the voice of #science and #reason in the discussions around a viral post that the injuries sustained by the #NFL #football San Francisco 49ers are caused by proximity to a substation and #EMF exposure.
