But at the same time its hard not to get discouraged when some of your friends are already mangaka or got jobs as concept artists and then youre just sitting there working towards nothing really in particular, But ive been told thats the life of an artist. I promise eventually your work will pay off

Thats the dream after all, but shit i dont know the answer to that myself, honest to god im just trying to get oneshots out in hopes to get recognized. All I can really say is what has been told to me, Keep doing what you can and don't get discouraged. opportunity will come eventually.
