I'd like to know how the people that play the sport feel about this.
Next, as someone who has lived where the wind hurts your face, being outside in the winter sucks.
Lastly, I think there can be pros to alignment, but we have our own sports culture here, and it's ok to be different.

One sign of leadership is being able to listen and process differing views or feedback you see as criticism. It's a challenging but critical skill for people in leadership roles.

This was so much fun to make, but it's also really important and widely maybe misunderstood. The recruiting process is about finding out what playing sports in college might look like for an individual student! youtu.be/QutZBDsQNKI?...

Dear Coach, I get why you reply, “we will need to evaluate you further in person to determine if Stanvard is a good fit. We are hosting an ID Camp and would love to work with you. Let me know,” to an email. BUT when it is a prospect that you have seen in high level competition asking a direct question about their status spring of junior year or later, you’ve transitioned from “selling the dream” to “providing misleading hope.” Knock it off! Sincerely, Everybody
Just taking a moment (with apologies to @akilbello.bsky.social who invented "Stanvard") to point out that if you coach at a selective college and respond to inquiries from 6th semester juniors that you have seen play by trying to sell camp, you're kind of a scumbag.
