Blog update: Wire reformed in 1985 and signed to Mute, but almost split again before their 4th album "The Ideal Copy" was completed. Luckily they persevered and the first single from the LP got to number one in the NME indie charts.

Milestone reached on a new graphic novel! All the vector artwork is done! Now all I have to do is address the snag list, do all the textures and painting, put it all together with the text, and probably end up revisiting sections as the doubt sets in! Easy.

My god The Web Planet was a grind. I *loved* the Target book, I admire the ambition, but there’s a reason I’ve not watched it since the DVD release.

My hot take is that the historicals are generally better than the sci-fi.
