Thinking for a moment, Chrome suddenly got excited and shook a little in place.
"I like satellites! Shiny and friendly! Do you think I could be one of those?"
Nervouslythey looked at Aella. "If you like hugs and I like hugs then could we please hug?" They opened their arms as they asked.

Chrome considered her words carefully. "Thank you, but I think you're the cool one." They seemed unsure of themself as they looked around.
"I like space and stars. Maybe I could be a ship? I also like hugs but I don't know how to dress as one of those...."

Wanting to be included, Chrome nodded, although they weren't sure what they could go as.
"What do you think would suit me? I have no idea what I could even be. You look so cool. I'm just kind of lame."

Never having heard of such a bizarre thing Chrome can only stare at her.
"Are you attempting a new fashion? It is interesting.... and why are you collecting candy tributes?"

// aww thank you. I really appreciate that! After watching Short Circuit l can say that I think I'm certainly going to try Chrome in that universe.

As another sign of trust, they removed their second hand from protecting their pod and gave a wave with both hands. They hoped that they would not come to regret this.

They offered another series of rhythmic beeps, soft and consistent as their own posture relaxed slightly.
As a newly forming entity, they decided to trust this stranger and /hope/ that things would continue in a positive manner. --->

The detected hesitance in their sounds and the friendly gesture of a wave indicated that perhaps this entity was in fact nonhostile.
Returning the friendly gesture, the hobgoblin slowly removed one hand from protecting their radiolaria pod and waved back. --->

Deciding something on their own was daunting, but with no collective to back them up they really didn’t have a choice. This individual made Eliksni sounds yet had made no aggressive moves. --->

Maya Sundaresh did not appear to be any conventional Vex unit, yet she had integrated herself into their systems with ease and assumed control, and for a while the collective had then perceived her as Vex. --->

The Hobgoblin tilted its head as once again their unexpected guest made sounds it knew to be Eliksni. This confused the vex, this being did not look like any known Eliksni, but it knew better than to make detailed judgements on outward appearance. --->

Curiously they beeped at her, noticing that she was holding something. Cautiously they raised a hand and pointed at what she was holding, giving a curious couple of beeps and whines in quick, playful succession.

She had also taken off her helmet, that was surely another sign of being nonhostile! They felt a little more relaxed as they observed her behaviour, but still not entirely comfortable. More observation would be needed. --->

Relief gurgled through the vex as they watched their unexpected company mirrored their gesture. That was a good sign! If she had been hostile she wouldn’t have taken the time to wave. --->
