If you’d like to contribute to the Fund for Taos to help the nonprofits providing essential support to our community, you can give online at taoscf.org, visit us in person to make life a little easier for Taoseños in need.
Currently, we are partnering with 100% Taos County Initiative and Taos Behavioral Health to distribute grocery and gas cards to families affected by the loss of SNAP benefits.
Every dollar contributed to the Fund for Taos supports local nonprofits responding to unmet needs in the community, which could include food, shelter, access to support services, and coordination between community networks.
Our community created the Fund for Taos in 2020 to help our neighbors in times of urgent need—originally in response to the Covid-19 pandemic—and has since awarded 144 grants totaling more than $1.6 million through this fund to support local families.
