Amazon, which saved $4B in taxes under Trump's Big Ugly Bill, has cut 30,000 jobs since last October.

Verizon, which saved $2B, plans to cut 15,000 jobs this year.

Meta, which saved $3B, plans to lay off 20% or more of its workforce.

Trickle-down economics is a cruel joke.

Was not expecting this. Gonzales will also resign from Congress.

If you return unwanted Reform local election leaflets to their party headquarters using their free post address, then it will cost the party Β£2.50 per envelope.

Please don’t share this information; it could cost Nigel Farage a fortune.

Nearly 50 years of directly transferring the tax burden away from those most able to pay (and corporations) to Americans who aren't rich will do that.
It's time to eat them, Robert.

The effective federal corporate income tax rate:

1950: 50%
1990: 25%
2020: 13%

Stop asking "but how we will pay for it?" Restore the corporate tax rate.

That is how we will pay for it.

Every gain workers have ever made came from collective pressure, not generosity from above. That hasn’t changed. It never will.

On the train back home from Warsaw right now, and two Ukrainian women across the carriage from me are absolutely delighted about the Hungarian election result. One is in tears and the other is laughing. This is what it means to get rid of the cynical, kleptocratic prick.

The Kremlin will not congratulate Magyar on his victory in the Hungarian elections. Hungary is now an 'unfriendly country.' --- RIA news

Putin and his bitch could not save the corpse. Long live Hungary!

Any government that isn't right now accelerating plans to transition to 100% clean, renewable energy is either:

a. Incompetent
b. In the pockets of people who'd rather they didn't
c. a & b

I'm there. I'll admit, I questioned some sanity when they gave Michael Cohen a platform to rehab his image. Adding you to my list, @meidastouch.com!

Please. Stop watching network news products. The 4th Estate has been murdered by the fascist-aligned billionaires who own/operate virtually all of it. I suggest independent sources like Reuters, Associated press, CBC, BBC, and Al Jazeera.

At some point of time in our history, we're going to HAVE to find the political will to tax where most of the wealth & income are. The alternative to that is current reality, where Americans are forced to live in a poisoned, polluted wage-slave hell hole, while the rich enjoy a generous tax haven.

For the record, I hope I'm wrong, too.

Thank you for the information...the reason I like Steyer is... he's not afraid of going after tRump

Yes I agree it's between Steyer and Becerra for me

Y'all will pick a good one, if tRump allows the mid-terms to take place. I don't believe he will, for MANY good reasons.
Prepare now for what comes after.

I definitely see 4 or more parties. I'd love to see voters have a choice.

The Democratic Party does everything it can to prevent leftist candidates from running--both in their primaries and on third parties.

That won't happen until after the conflict we are about to have, after which we'll have the opportunity to break the 2-party stranglehold on electoral politics.

IMHO, the 4th Estate was murdered by fascist-aligned billionaires who want to treat their employees like shit, & not pay any taxes. If there used to be division between corporate and reporters, it's gone now. I can't pretend I don't see that bleeding into an information structure that they control.

At this point I think it’d good to figure out another candidate. These weren’t allegations from the Trump world, Porter or any other candidate in the field. But it sounds like most of the candidates knew about the rumors and that’s why they’ve stayed in the race with such a crowded field.

I have never made any claims that reporting was not legitimate. I simply pointed out that we live in a media environment that is quite different from the one you knew. 9 morbidly wealthy people own virtually the entire media-sphere. These 9 fascist-aligned asshats are virulently pro-tRump.
