Heat is killing oil workers. The industry is trying to kill a rule for that. Opposition to a planned rule to limit heat deaths comes as oil and gas workers face increasingly dangerous conditions.

Workers in the oil & gas sector increasingly face dangerous working conditions brought on by extreme heat. The Biden administration issued a rule mandating that, when temps exceed 80F, employers must provide water & rest breaks.

The O&G industry is lobbying Trump to reverse the rule.
