I could make millions as a rain maker. All I need to do is ride my motorbike wherever rain is needed, grab a bucket of soapy water and give it a wash. Guaranteed that 5 mins after I finish the sky will open and your reservoirs will be overflowing in no time 🙄 #ffs

Email informing of not being accepted to the London marathon via the ballot system.
Oh well, that will probably be the last time I apply for the London marathon anyway. Charity places are a PITA. #londonmarathon #running
part of being an adult is realizing a lot of rules and norms are bullshit but submarine engineering regulations, those are very real

True.
Can't lie, my phone's the same.

Here's an article about him in English

Eugeni Gwozdew shown on his 12 ft sailboat docked at a marina.
I googled him, and Wow!!! He sailed twice around the world in a 12ft sailboat he built on his balcony!
My all-time favorite is Thor Heyerdahl - Kon-Tiki.
I also really admire George Dyson's work with the Aleut baidarka - The Starship and the Canoe.
I can tell you there's a vast difference in skippering smaller boat compared to 50'+. 36' was defacto mold used for the maj. of production yachts up until 2000 when new resins and techniques allowed bigger hulls that were resistant to osmosis.
Problem is no one learns on a boat bigger than 40'.
Builders skip full of rubble and soil.
Well that was a productive day. Need a nap now.
As a yacht skipper whose boat is currently in the med, the orcas are a constant topic of conversation. Had to laugh at these though 🤣
I hadn't heard of Eugeni Gwozdew before today. What a story! I obviously had to use Google translate to read this article.

From now on if any ships get stuck in canals we can send orcas to break them up into smaller pieces.
Somewhere in Dorset, UK. Nice weather for a change!
