Our realtor recently sent us a flyer for a website called propertyfraudalert.com. I thought it was a scam but apparently it's a legit thing county recorder offices use to track mortgage fraud/deed theft.

A huge problem in Bed-Stuy, where I live, is deed theft. A very organized and courageous group is bringing attention to this, but the battle is hard.
