A black toad with bright red markings on their bag and purple markings on their belly! They are slender for a toad and have very skinny legs and a long, pointed nose!
Our friend the Cayenne Stubfoot Toad lives in northeastern French Guiana and in the Brazilian state of Amapá, and is relatively common for a harlequin toad! As adults they develop striking colors ranging from purple to fiery red! (photo by Chaline Olivier)
