Thank you for your kind offer, and I would love this, but I just found it online. Iโm looking forward to trying it!
My kind of recipe too. Iโm sowing spinach as soon as the snow melts, so this would be a great meal to try with it. Thanks for sharing.
Was it as delicious as it sounds?
Wow. Great to hear you located it!

Just learned from a post by Dr. Theresa Crimmins @theresacrimmins.bsky.social acknowledging valuable work done by Dr. Yasuyuki Aono,
that he passed away earlier in 2025. Hereโs the good news that his remarkable cherry blossom record-keeping will continue. ๐ธ

Yes, and weโre so ready for it! ๐ท
Very interesting, and great that you keep track. Hope the rufous is not too far behind.
Lucky you, enjoy it!
What a valuable contribution. ๐ธ
Wonderful sighting, Tracey! ๐
Lovely expression of appreciation for what you do.
Thank you!
The very hairy flower bud of a native prairie crocus sprouts from the earth before its leaves emerge in early spring
Excited to find the first native prairie crocus buds in my garden today, all dressed in fur to protect them from tonightโs incoming snow.

My pleasure. Glad you enjoyed it too.
Beautiful!
Love this stage ๐
Beautiful image! ๐ Lots of fuzzy buds just peeking through the earth here. Canโt wait for the blooms!

These native prairie crocus seeds I planted last October are getting some welcome snow from todayโs winter storm. When it melts, the moist, chilly soil will be just what they need to sprout this spring. ๐ฑ
