New figures from Public Health Scotland show every adult in D&G saved nearly £330 last year on prescription charges on average as compared to nearly £10 each in England – that’s a total of £41.5 million in household pockets across D&G in 2024 alone.
Christina McKelvie saw the very best in people, and growing up she also saw firsthand the injustice faced by her family and her community.
Her experiences made her determined to address the many injustices facing society.
We will carry on that fight in Christina’s honour.
