A surprising amount of snow overnight. #lesarcs is saying 25cm up there, and it's definitely 15cm and above down here (at 900m alt.) I went for a run. Not a brilliant idea, but necessary for the #24H100D.

New snow report from #LesArcs. Today was the first time I've seen an actual punch-up/altercation at a ski lift. Very weird. Who knows why it was going off, not really thay busy. It's not on the video though. Sorry. Generally don't video when queueing for a gondola.

Lift opening day in Les Arcs. New boots after 11 years, making things more difficult than I'd like. Managed to achieve (what I'm going to call) a "controlled faceplant" on the first run. But otherwise good times, good snow and, oftentimes, zero visibility. See this!

Decent amount of snow last night. Just under 10cm down here (900 metres altitude) but apparently 20cm in #LaPlagne and up to 25cm in #Tignes & #ValdIsere. Bodes well for next week's #ski season opening in #LesArcs, #LaRosiere & #SteFoy.

Looks like Sainte Foy has pushed back its opening date to 14th December. Now their Croc Blanc opening weekend lift pass & meal deal is available on 14th & 15th December instead. Apparently some snow due in the area tomorrow, so hopefully that'll sort out the lower slopes all around the Tarentaise.

Well it's dumped down in Les Arcs today. All the way down into the valley. Good news for Tignes/Val d'Isere, which might be opening in a week. Glad we got the snow tyres on early this year...
