So many folk disturbed by it. I'm mostly upset by the order of the finger bones.

I hesitate to say "tag yourself" but I enjoy the different sewing styles. I am very much number 2.

I seem to remember People like us being really funny, especially the running gag about him being married.

Oh 100%. Especially the USA as you've seen all the roadsigns etc. in films. Genuinely doesn't feel like a holiday.
At least in Australia the kangaroos make it feel different.

Its got to be connected to how much less the vast majority of people encounter poetry compared to other arts. People who enjoy singing can see many steps between themselves and professionals, but those who only know/like a few poems can't see the work that goes into them.

I have an English teacher joke but first I want to know what you think it's about.

In retrospect the hooves should probably be at the front of the forelimbs, so the wing bones can come from a later finger bone. Ach well.

A pencil drawing of Pegasus. Horses head, Swan like wings half outstretched, and horse hind legs. A bit heraldic.

I had an idea for a 4 limbed Pegasus. And so I've drawn one

Sad to see the Ides of March becoming commercialised like this. I really feel like we're losing track of the true spirit of the holiday. It's not about how many knives you can stick in a tyrant all at once, it's about the whole community coming together to stab the tyrant as many times as possible.

A series of images showing a loyalty card for a cafe in Crystal

Bored?

Why not get rid of an old loyalty card in your wallet by planting an 'inciting incident' somewhere in the wild

🚨 It looks like the UK government is gearing up to upend copyright law in favour of AI companies, legalising the theft of their work.

This is despite creatives' huge protests, and despite previous proposals being roundly rejected by the public.

Please spread the word.

Have said for years that it's rock, paper, scissors. Ireland have always been good at slowing and disrupting Scotland. So good at nullifying our strength.

Is nobody going to point out that "less" being used for countable nouns "there are less people" is common idiom, widely used and even Shakespeare bloody did it?

Have your own personal tastes, but the role of language is to communicate.

I have joined the patreon and really liked the extra episode. Quick question. How regularly are the Snake boys planning on putting out normal episodes?

BBC News sent a questionnaire to more than 5,000 GPs in England asking if they had ever denied a fit note - often called a sick note - to someone who had requested one because of their mental health.

Of the 752 GPs who replied, 540 said they had never refused such a request, while 162 told us they had turned at least one down. A smaller number - 50- said they would prefer not to say.

Woah woah BBC, out of the 702 who responded definitively, 162 (that's TWENTY THREE PERCENT) said they *had* refused a fit note?

Alternate headline : "NEARLY 1 IN 4 GPs REFUSE TO PROVIDE FIT NOTES FOR MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS"

Sub-headline : "86% OF GPs CAN'T BE ARSED REPLYING TO OUR SHITTY SURVEY"

Yesterday I filmed several baby birds walking across a street directly at my camera and asked Bluesky to suggest music

Several dozen folks did

Some even dubbed music over the original clip.

I haven't been able to get this out of my head.

So I give you

A Bluesky exclusive:

Quietly, calmly and forensically, BBC just dismantled the Trump communications shitshow on Iran.

No hyperbole, just laying out an unprecedented military, diplomatic and reputational shambles.

Worth a watch.
