Been there. I worked for the company that built the visitor centre about twenty or so years ago.
Barely stopped in the Great Border City today.
A few crackers there. Magnification is up there with one of the best by Yes.
From what I’ve heard of Ngonda he’s a unique talent from a very different era.
Nice picture, well done.
Good luck, hope it helps.
Triple Distilled is a real grower.
Always a good selection. My eldest lives in Penrith and I make a point of visiting when I visit. I’d be skint if I was down there twice a week.
Can’t beat a gilet. Has to be wet before I don’t wear one.
And a magnificent album it is. The live concert Blu-ray in wonderful.
It’s slowly growing on me but I prefer the rum cask.
What do you reckon Brian?

Great album but CTTE is better for me.
It doesn’t get much better than this Sandie.
25ml. Getting 35ml of Glen Scotia Double Cask in my local (Scottish) pub for just over £6.00. Lovely.
I was raging but, from board of directors down, they were completely clueless. The board all had their pet projects which didn’t benefit the company in the slightest. The ‘upper’ management just thought antagonising customers was the way to get them onside. Mercifully I was only there a year.
Pre COVID so pre Teams, I worked with a girl who was fairly junior but, for some bizarre reason, the powers that be allowed her to present stuff at meetings. To say she loved the sound of her own voice was an understatement. No surprise the powers that be (directors) were the worst I ever worked for
Nice. Partial to a Porter on occasion.
A bloke used to work for me in the hire game referred to Propane gas as “profane” gas. I never heard them swear once.
Nicely put. Be strong.
I have also played there many times.
I’m guessing it involves re-enactments.
Probably my favourite live album. Tremendous.
youtube.com/watch?v=GJ5n... My brother on guitar, blue strat. Good stuff.
Haven’t read the whole thread but is there not somewhere in Northern Ireland that supplies an awful lot?
Emerson was a wonderfully skilled pianist. Wakeman is a superb all rounder. If it was just piano then Emerson.
Now playing. A masterpiece of understated keyboard work by the late, great Rick Wright. Less is more is I’m sure was his motto. Doesn’t get much better.
Had to do my first block on here this morning. New follower, purporting to be a young female, straight into DMs “Hi, how are you”. Goodbye.
