In this drawing, he appears younger, looking straight back at the viewer (implied to be Rocket from the previous image) and is gently smiling, as yellow, bubbly scribbles of different emotions surround his face. It's implied that the viewer is seeing through Rocket's perspective as he is trying to get a read of Sword's expression, something he doesn't seem to quite grasp, as bubbles of anger, spite, sadness, and all kinds of conflicting emotions bubble around Sword, with none of them matching his true face.
