Today, MSF is going public with something we've been fighting behind closed doors for months: Gilead will not sell us their new HIV drug, lenacapavir.
The sticking point isn't even price, they just refuse to sell.

An image of the cover of New York Times magazine, featuring a gorgeous photo by Jasper Doest of sled dog Dora, in harness, running toward the camera in a forest with an exceptionally long tongue swinging out to the side. There’s a slight mist in the middle of the image, from her breath fogging the camera lens.
Y’all DORA is the cover star for this weekend’s New York Times Magazine!!!!!!! 😱😱😱🤯🤯🥹🥹🥹
An orange and white freckled dog sits amid bushes, sticking his tongue 👅 out at the requests to “please come out of your bush-fort”. He did not come out.
Happy birfday to the floofied Wicksy boi! Archie hopes you got at least 1 “this wasn’t planned” snack and decorated your human with the traditional mud markings
Look, I’m dealing with enough atrocities at the moment without this.
Bittersweet to read for anyone who has followed and loved @blairbraverman.bsky.social and her incredible pack, but the best changes are always so.

All of the beans are together again. I know that Refried sang Fava and Hari home and they are all young and strong and running together again. We are lucky to have known them and their stories and are blessed to carry them with us always. ❤️💔❤️
Time for my annual story time!! The TL;DR is that the links below will take you to donation opportunities for schools and other charities across Alaska that will be open for the duration of the Iditarod (starts Sunday). So bookmark the post below if you don't want to lose it. 1/
SCOOP: An internal DHS document obtained by 404 Media shows for the first time CBP used location data sourced from the online advertising industry to track phone locations.
This surveillance can happen through all sorts of apps, such as video games, news apps, weather trackers, and dating apps.
I think phase 3 is just “profit!” but what do I know
Unlike, say, data analytics giant Palantir, Ring is a surveillance network that homeowners have by and large deployed themselves, powered by fear mongering against our neighbors and unfettered consumerism.

On Nov. 16, a mental health counselor recorded in Kamilla’s medical records that her mother reported the girl had lost her appetite after being “served food that contained worms.” A week later, the couple said, children were told to gather in the gym for what they believed would be a Thanksgiving celebration. Excitement spread as families saw tables set with turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, they said. The children waited expectantly. But when a parent asked when the celebration would begin, Oksana said, staff told them the holiday meal was for employees, not detainees. The children, she said, watched despondently as the feast was packed away.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.
The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.
But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:
- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown
This is unprecedented.
Right now Rikers Island, the physically largest jail in the entire United States, is holding under 7,000 people.
ICE's warehouse plans include detention camps which will hold between 8,500-10,000 people in buildings not designed for human habitation.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.
If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...
we need to talk about that Ring Super Bowl ad
Page 1 of a child’s handwritten letter, written in Spanish in a cursive script. Translation: “Hello I am Ender and I am 12 years old, I have been at this center for 2 months. I arrived here for an immigration appointment and I don’t think they should grab immigrants who are innocent, like instead of grabbing criminals because I mean they prefer to lock up children than look for people who really shouldn’t be in the U.S. They told me I could only be here 21 days but I have already spent more than 60 days waking up eating the same repetitive meals, going outside and that the majority of guards never pay attention to people, eating dinner always the same as the day before, seeing people cry every day for the same reasons, trying to sleep in that horrible uncomfortable bed, going to the doctor and that the only thing they tell you is to drink more water and the worst thing is that it seems like the water is what makes people sick here…”

Translation: “…going to wait for the bad answers from the judges, hearing the bad news from people who no longer have hope, having to share a room with minimum 3 families, and all that so they send us back to our countries.” Below the text is a drawing in pen of three women, titled “My family” and labeled with “Mama,” “Sister,” and “me” in Spanish.

From 12-year-old Ender, detained 60+ days
ICE is running a “conveyor belt” of illegally detained Minnesota families.
Agents are arresting entire families with legal status and immediately shipping them off to Texas to deny them legal representation and avoid the federal courts in Minnesota.
The cruelty is endless.
❤️
Our reporting has found that ICE sent 600 immigrant kids to detention in federal shelters in 2025.
A 17-year-old was detained at a traffic stop because officers couldn’t make contact with his dad, who is deaf.
Another kid ended up in a shelter after making a wrong turn:
🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!
ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
Minnesota: "School officials say the [5-year-old] child was used as bait. They say [ICE] agents made little Liam knock on the door to ask to be let in in order to see if anyone else was home."
Our researcher @godin.bsky.social has collated our analysis so far on the fatal shooting of Renee Good on Jan 7 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into one shareable article. Read here: www.bellingcat.com/news/2026/01...

The president of Venezuela must be held legally accountable for his crimes, which the Supreme Court forbids to happen for the president of the US, who recently pardoned the president of Honduras for similar crimes.
Pull quote from Reuters article: Survivors reported ethnically-motivated mass killings and widespread detentions during and after the takeover. Many people remain unaccounted for in al-Fashir and surrounding areas. In an interview with Reuters on Monday, Denise Brown, the U.N. Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Sudan, described al-Fashir as a "crime scene". "The town was not teeming with people. There were very few people that (they) were able to see," she said, describing a visit to al-Fashir by U.N. staff on Friday that lasted several hours.
