Tilly the Parson Russell got hold of some grapes yesterday. My wife rushed to the vet. Vomiting induced - Tilly, not my wife - and kibble, a dental treat, and two grapes appeared. She seems fine - again, Tilly, not my wife - but a crisis is a crisis.

What we really know about the first Easter Jesus is questioned by Herod, who wants to see miracles but receives only silence. He’s humiliated and sent back to Pilate.

Michael Coren: The message of Easter is a renewed leap into the sea of faith The essence of Easter is that the church isn’t dead, Christianity isn’t dead, and most important of all, as followers of Christ we believe that Jesus isn’t dead.

Roald Dahl’s antisemitism feels painfully familiar I was asked to interview children’s author Roald Dahl in 1983. The author's views on Jews and Israel left me shocked

Just booked our flight and hotel for New York in late March. It's the opening of Giant on Broadway. The play, cast, writer won countless awards in London. John Lithgow continues as Roald Dahl but the actor who plays me is new. Never had this on my list of predictions!

Reading numerous comments from Christians about Philip Yancey and far too many seem to be almost enjoying the situation and rejoicing in judgement. They'll deny this of course but not the first time I've seen such behaviour.
