The Greens requested an interview on the Laura Kuenssberg Show with Zack Polanski when he was elected leader, but were denied, with a promise to interview him during Green conference instead.
This was then scrapped citing the Manchester synagogue attack. Polanski is both Jewish and from Manchester

Her name was Amna al-Mufti. She was 11 years old.
Just one atrocity of many.
It’s stunning, in my top ten albums.
Sad news. I always enjoyed reading his writing. We need more like him, who didn’t just go after click bait stories.
Had the pleasure of meeting him once and chatting for five mins. Came across as a lovely person and also a Fulham season ticket holder to boot!
RIP Paddy 😔
Why on earth is the FA Cup 5th round draw on that well known hotbed of football fanaticism, the, er… One Show??! 🤔🤷🏻♂️
Should’ve been after the Villa/Spurs game, or if the FA want to be proper, get it on Radio 5 on Monday lunchtime.
Number 8.
Batters 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 are bowled in the 1st over.
2nd over starts with no.2 facing and no.8 at the non-strikers end.
Then batters 2, 9, 10 and 11 are dismissed in the first four balls of the 2nd over, leaving no.8 not out having not faced a delivery.
With respect, if that’s the worst decision you’ve seen in 30 years I’d suggest that you haven’t watched that much football in that time.
ITV London, "1 in 4 firefighters who responded to the Grenfell tower fire in 2017 are living with long term health disorders, including cancer and respiratory diseases"
"There's a call for an urgent review and better protection for firefighters"
I truly hate games against that mob.
I could quite happily go somewhere and lock myself away where my mind would be taken off of it and then just check the result later.
But I know if we were ever to win there and I wasn’t there to witness it I’d feel sick.

"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little"
With huge sadness I’m resigning as Vice President of RSPCA, a role I’ve held with pride for over 15 years. But their Assured Schemes risk misleading the public & legitimising cruelty. I tried with @ChrisGPackham to persuade the leadership to act but sadly failed

Appalling. 77-year-old climate protestor, Gaie Delap, has been recalled to prison over Christmas because her wrists are too small for a tag to be fitted.
@goodlawproject.bsky.social are supporting Gaie to challenge this cruel decision. Here's how you can help👇

My boyhood hero. ❤️
Would still be in my favourite Fulham XI.
Not bad to be compared to Beckham. 😂
I was once asked on a train back from a game we played at Derby (by an admittedly totally sloshed bloke) if I was John f…ing Tear-y?!! 🫣😳
As if the Captain, Leader, Bellend would be on a train, travelling cattle class!

Today Democracy for Sale also looks at a *very* concerning new National Audit Office report into management of conflicts of interest in UK government
Includes an honourable mention for Spotlight @suehawley.bsky.social ‘s excellent blog on the report

#COP29 ends in betrayal of the Global South. Failure of wealthier countries to deliver sufficient finance shows yet again the sickening injustice & inequality at the heart of this process. Solidarity with all who fought for better - the fight continues

Bullard free kick at Blackburn in March 08 - the Roy Great Escape season. It was very late, earned a 1-1 draw and a point that seemed inconsequential at the time, but proved vital come May.
Eh, Reading fans?! 😁
Under the initiative #hungerdoesntwearclubcolours the Lillies have given donations to local Foodbanks at both Manchester City and Everton this season. This Saturday we will be holding our own Foodbank collection before the game against Wolves. Please donate if you can.
For me one of the exciting things about this current Fulham side is we’re genuinely a team.
We aren’t in a position where if one player - such as Mitrovic or Palhinha in the past two seasons - has a poor game it badly affects the side.
You know you’re having a good day when a member of one of the greatest bands ever follows you back… 😃
I know you had injuries, but was surprised how poor Palace were last week. You played us off the park for 40 mins in April. Was Olise *that* influential? 🤔
My Dad took me to Craven Cottage and that was it. I was never going to be allowed to support any other team!
Hopefully we can have a place again where Fulham fans can debate, laugh, celebrate and cry together. But mostly be respectful to each other even when we don’t agree. 🤞
