I know some of the volunteers “can’t wait” until we’re large enough to move across to the OCCC, but I am not one of them. I never want it to get up to Megacon levels of attendance. I’ve pretty well sworn off Megacon due to the shear volume of attendees. I didn’t go this year.

When you cut down a tree, you can tell about how old it is by counting the number of rings.

With people, you add the number of doctors they have by the number of prescriptions that they have, and multiply the result by three. At least for me it’s very close.

Fierce & Fabulous is the title of The Orlando Gay Chorus’ spring concert and I created the graphic for posters and program cover, etc (under the guidance of our PR committee).

I went to FWA in 2019, and I had a blast. The hotel was a mixed bag. The elevators were a major sore point… but they seem to be bad for any large convention. That aside, I want to check it out again.

Okay, realized the two videos I’ve see so far were taken on Thursday. Hopefully I’ll see footage, probably tomorrow, of what it was like on Friday.

I mean, if I am completely honest, I’ve always enjoyed MegaPlex (Orlando’s furry convention) SO MUCH MORE than MegaCon (Orlando’s version of ComicCon).

Not attending MegaCon this year. I always go on Friday, when it’s less crowded, but last year it was packed and I didn’t enjoy it. Seeing video of this year’s Friday show floor, and it’s not bad. I may have to try it again next year… we’ll have to see.

Yes, I got a room for MegaPlex this year. Apparently the block was snatched up in 9 minutes (for people staying for the entire event).

We’ve been having 80° weather in Orlando. Today and tomorrow are rainy, and tues/wed were back down to low temperatures in the mid 40s. It’s wacky, I tell ya’.
