The only time I’ve knit a yoke last sweater it at least had a cabled yoke, but I’m still not sure if it was better or worse than sleeves last.

As the person had to insist that their husband’s puncture wound needed to be cleaned at the ER earlier this week, that tracks. It’s also helpful to have a second person for remembering the maintenance items like “did you ever get that referral your doctor was going to put in?”
They seem to be settling in nicely
I need someone to invent nicer looking shatterproof kitchen goods because we’ve been through two butter dishes and a teapot lid in last 5 months.
Thea is my mezze kid, she could quite happily live on olives, feta, pickled stuff, etc.
For comparison, this is Clyde(on the right)
Roci feels that if Clyde is a lap dog, she should get to be one as well.
Either loose Lego or the little $5 sets in a little snap-shut photo storage box www.target.com/p/small-5x7-...

My emergency purse Legos came in handy today; not for me, but for a kid who was stuck waiting out the concussion hold period around the corner from us at the ER.
Beer flavored Spindrift is pretty decent
The only things I’m certain have gone up are meat and yogurt, and yogurt hasn’t gone up much. I think the biggest difference is that things that went on sale regularly go on sale far less frequently now.
Yeah, they’re early June at best here. But it’s ramps season if you can find them.
Hey now! I’ve worked in the same state for at least 14 years - you’re the problem child. 😝
Maine is excellent off season! The botanical gardens are really nice with kids. www.mainegardens.org
Feds are basically done and MA has an extra day for state.
Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen is good but pricey, Trader Joe’s Daily is a Supergoop dupe that’s silicone based which doesn’t play nicely with some foundations etc., Nutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch for when I want a higher SPF.
Yay!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Picking up 6 pounds of bees has got to be one of the stranger after school errands I’ve run.
Marco Rubio realising he has to move to Avignon and be the Antipope
Unforeseen perks of going to the 8am on Easter - front row seats because, surprise(!), you MIL got there early and the ushers need someone to bring up the gifts, and no waiting for a turn to get a family picture by the nice flowers because you’re basically the only people with kids so no waiting.
I’ve got a Breezer Downtown from there that is an excellent bike.
I got mine from New Horizons in Westfield a couple of years ago. They’re very nice and their online stock listings are pretty accurate for availability.
For the first time in probably 15 years we have a priest who’s under 65 and it was so nice to get soaked with holy water this morning! And after he got all of us he gave the aspergillum a good shake over his own head.
It was an ideal job too because because I was visiting my now husband and he was a head server and my MIL was in charge of the servers, so I didn’t really have anyone to sit with anyway.
“A lot of volunteering” reminds me of the year I got drafted by Father to stand just inside the sacristy door and guard the controls for the house lights because he’d had it with overzealous ushers turning them on at “let there be light!” instead of waiting for the Gloria.
Brunch, which I forgot to get a picture of before we dived in, not that the French onion tart is photogenic anyway.
And now there are two
A fitting Easter Vigil activity
