Wow, looks incredible! Amazing work. It'll probably be another few years before I actually finish painting a full game X)
If I had those I'd try to help you out, but I hadn't started into the hobby when MD1 was out so we only got in on MD2. And we didn't go all-in on that either.

Nicely done~ Yeah it's a crazy mini, as are so many of the MD2 hero models. I already did Dylan but it was sadly nowhere near the style/level I paint at currently.
Nothing but agreement from me! The game is stupidly fun, and oddly enough it came with some super-challenging minis to paint for the heroes.
I've got a few left in the pipeline to get through gradually - still hoping shadowreach will be a thing.
Picture of a hand-painted model of the Massive Darkness Bard Ryff, wielding a bloodied, bladed guitar, with a punk & jester vibe to his outfit.
Pace is slowing lately, but I had some time to finish one I'm very proud of! From Massive Darkness, here's my take on painting Ryff the Bard:

Man that's looking gorgeous. That flag is really something - it's looking fantastic Bren, keep it up!
Very pretty indeed! Orange is a godawful color for coverage in this hobby here too, and you just made it look easy and beautiful =)
Great stuff Krystal~
I read it as metallic given the glints on the art, so this was a NMM attempt on my part. I didn't go any brighter than light grey on it though, because I wanted the last bit of exposed skin on the face to be the more eye-catching part of the face.
Definitely an odd model!
Beautiful stuff, great work and congrats on the results!
Must have been tons of work to finish that one. Congrats on the results, it looks great!
Picture of a hand-painted model of the Marvel heroine Musk, peeling her skin & suit off to reveal a metal body.
A pretty intense looking model here; I wasn't sure at first how it'd look, but I'm quite happy with my results! From Marvel United, my take on painting Husk:

I love how the patterns are looking - the glow around the veins and the char near the end of the webbing too. Great stuff Steph!
I'm glad it has your approval! =)
I know it would take a lot more of using black lines/markup to fully try replicating what you do, but I found it fun doing the strong color partitions closer to your style. Thank you for the inspiration!
Wow thank you so much for saying so =) Definitely a bit of tedium doing it four times, so I'm glad you dig it~
Picture of four hand-painted models of tentacles from Kingdom rush, emerging from rippling water.
Since it was based on a mobile game, I tried painting cartoon art closer in style to @thunderbrushstudio.bsky.social than my own. From Kingdom Rush, here's some tentacles painted!

Good luck, you're almost there!
His eyes look awesome btw, well done Viet.
Wow very cool to see the underpainting layers that made that work. Result looks awesome too Dave, well done!
I always waffle between whether to bother with WIPs or not. Some folks seem to like them, and sometimes they aren't as well received.
Those are gorgeous! Well done Binx~
Perfect response - I'll take it! =D
Picture of two hand-painted models of the lovecraft monsters Spiders of Leng. Left is a more traditional horror-based paint where you can see her eyes and various egg sacs on the body. Right is my painting it as Spider-man instead with a spider-man sigil, and freehanded suit lines and webbing on a rock.
I had this dumb idea, and I'm so happy about my execution of it. Here's my paint of a Spider of Leng, and of course, a Spider-man of Leng too!

If you see this, post a bunny ๐
I had to go back two years to find the only bunny I've ever painted, these little ones from Kingdom Rush!
They're beautiful, so congrats on the hard work! It clearly paid off =)
That looks incredible Matt, well done!
Wow, so cool and dramatic! Thanks for posting both lighting examples too~
Picture of a hand-painted model of Chain Balls, a metallic trap of chains and balls with glowing Runes, smashing through the earth as it rolls.
Much happier with my TMM work this time after a recent disappointment. From Grimcoven, here's my take on painting the Chain Balls trap!

I especially love the details you got on the wood and leather straps. Really well done Dave!
If you see, this drop a hero with a Sword!
Picture of a hand-painted model of Dwarven Knight Durik, a heavily armored bronze warrior wielding a big bronze hammer, with purple bindings holding his beard together.
I followed the very-bronze art with TMM but I'm beating myself up a bit for not doing fancier colors. From Odalin, here's Durik the Dwarf painted~

Oh man, I love it so much~
Might be tough to keep getting recruits, but what a crew to roll with!
It looks great, but my favorite part is when I first saw it, I thought I'd read "You are Great"... I adored the idea that it had scrawled a message of positive self-affirmation in gore.
Like, sure he grinds corpses, but he still wants you to keep being -you-.
LOVE it! =D
