Anyway, our public libraries deserve more support. Let's fight to ensure they receive what they need to pay library workers fairly, to do the necessary capital repairs/upgrades, and to afford lots of books and other resources, and to offer programming.

My son has been doing his own laundry since he was 8. He has been cooking for himself since he was a teen. Every kid should know how to do (at least) the basics before they graduate high school.

On the anniversary of Tim Curry’s birth I would just like to say that there are few actors who are as good as him at putting exactly the right amount of unhinged overacting and camp into a role to make it memorable.
