Hey people. Please read the entirety of this post. I realize that it’s a little long by insta standards. This is my husband. We’ve been married for 40 years! I think he’s kind of cute for an old guy. He’s a fantastic and supportive partner. He can be annoying, just like every other human (myself included). I love him and he loves me and I am grateful to be one of the lucky ones to have found a true life partner. Like millions of other people, he has a compromised immune system. To those of you who feel that the world revolves around you, and that you feel absolutely no responsibility for the health and safety of other human beings, let me remind you that you are part of a community - the human race. If you choose selfish indignation because you resent the fact that someone has the audacity to ask you to do your part and wear a face mask, then I have no respect for you. I’m sure you don’t give a shit about that. That’s fine. Doesn’t bother me. I just ask that you consider the lives of those around you and maybe start to view this situation from the perspective of those who are vulnerable and those who love them. Thank you for your time.
