I was on a phone call with someone in the states, when they realized I was in Canada..

"I have a friend who lives in Toronto, maybe you know him?"

I had to explain that I lived over 2000 miles away from his friend.. but yes, I did happen to know him.

Doesn't matter what we say. If we share honestly, someone may take offense.
That's the risk we must take to be authentic.
