We began this endeavor just over a yr ago, with the clearest goal of letting queer people in our small rural midwest town know that they are not alone. It feels like a small thing, in the midst of all the big things rn. But I have to believe that it is a good that will bear fruit for years to come.

We've been at it for some time & I'm so grateful for those who have stuck with it, will continue to show up in support of our friends, neighbors & loved ones who need it more than ever now.

Every woman preacher you know has had some ignorant mess of a man call her a SO-CALLED PASTOR when she said something he didn’t like. The response of the new potus to @mariannedgarbudde.bsky.social is so sad and predictable. Praying for her safety and for the church she serves. Rave on, sister.

I know we're not supposed to praise dads for run-of-the-mill parenting that moms do all the time unnoticed, but it made me smile to overhear this exchange of caretaking ideas between two totally different generations of dads in an otherwise hyper-masculine space 🥰

✨️Today's glimmer✨️ Young dad brings young toddler to the gym few times a week, workouts are distracted while keeping an eye on said toddler; middle age man gives him tips on how to do more with baby in tow, citing when he had littles & would tote them around on his back while doing housework.

Oh man... I'm a two hour drive away, but seriously considering it!
