Robertson and Senesi links do absolutely nothing for me. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Super disappointed tonight. Yes, Brobbey should have been sent off twice and the ref was really, really poor but I’m extremely concerned where our goals are coming from. Injuries are killing us but that was a poor, poor front 3/4 today. Buck clearly stops with Lange and Vinai. Utterly incompetent.

I’m now more interested in staying up just to avoid having to listen to Don Goodman on co-comms every week.

One nasty dickhead is going to dirty my club further by hiring another and we're not even going to get the trade-off of the team being any good.

No to De Zerbi

I think this is the angriest I’ve been with Spurs leadership team in a while, which is really saying something. On every level, the RDZ makes absolutely no sense. Taken many other’s lead and emailed the club.

Dear Vinai

I am writing as I understand the club is seeking to appoint Roberto de Zerbi as the next permanent Head Coach.

It has escaped no one's attention that the club is in a dire position in the league at present and results are historically poor. Getting the next appointment right is verging on being an existentially important decision.

However, the connection between the club and its fans is of paramount importance, perhaps even more so than which league the club plays in. Without the fans, the prospect of success on the pitch is affected (again, understood by all based on recent fan activity) not to mention the commercial realities of reduced fan engagement.

It is my view that the baggage associated with an individual like de Zerbi should be considered intolerable for this football club. He is a divisive figure for a number of reasons, who is openly opposed by huge numbers of fans who do not want our club to be associated with him. Meanwhile it is hard to argue that his history of supporting achievement is so great that we can simply overlook substantial character flaws.

Given that this season has been characterized by a series of poor decisions around the coaching at the club (not mentioned out of spite, and accepting that there is some benefit of hindsight), it seems clear to me that the appointment of a man such as de Zerbi would be the final nail in the coffin of an awful season and would see a chasm form between club and fans that would difficult to ever repair. Of course, some fans may have a different view, but the very fact that this would also cause a deep division in the fan base itself should be enough to give you pause and ultimately change course.

So I am writing to ask, in the strongest possible terms, that you reconsider this appointment with the greatest possible urgency or, at the very least, consult with fan groups before making this appointment to understand the enormous damage that this would do.

Yours

So I wrote to Vinai and Johan about RDZ and I am posting that email here. So now it's an open letter to the club.

I don’t understand the need to appoint a permanent manager now, you’d think you see who else was available after the World Cup? Surely we’ll see a bit of a manager merry-go-round

as terribly as we believe our club is being run, it’s clearly much, much worse in reality behind the scenes.

Been a really enjoyable game this. We’ve played well, so many positives. Seen more than enough to be positive about Sundays game. Crowd been immense.

Such a frustrating foul by Romero for that Alvarez free kick which led to the corner.

Since May, it has been one heinous decision after another, each compounding the previous. We’re an embarrassment and I absolutely hate it. A long road back.

Was just coming on to say exactly that, haven’t got a bad word to say about him. Giving it all.
