"The underlying message of Kennedy’s campaign is that measles deaths are expected and admissible, because the people who don’t survive the disease were flawed anyway",

The Economy Is Finally Stable. Will That Change With Trump? President-elect Donald J. Trump’s proposals on tariffs, immigration, taxes and deregulation may have far-reaching and contradictory effects, adding uncertainty to forecasts.

After five years of uncertainty and turmoil, the U.S. economy is ending 2024 in arguably its most stable condition since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. Yet the economic outlook for 2025 is murky, for one major reason: President-elect Trump.

He should be prepared, too, in the first few weeks at least, to get tired enough to need a nap in the middle of they day. Sleeping sitting up in a recliner might be easier than trying to get back into bed. An hour or so nap in the middle of the day can do wonders.

I've gone through that surgery myself. Sneezing is terribly painful, so do your best to keep the room dust and allergen free.

I guess every tech titan decided spontaneously to give Trump’s inauguration committee a check for $1 million as opposed to this being some kind of protection racket or tribute. I think that’s it, the spontaneous thing.

Don’t Let Trump Fool You, He Was Never Exonerated His re-election doesn’t change the damning evidence of his crimes.

Republicans have launched a propaganda campaign to pretend that Trump was "exonerated" and that the FBI are the bad guys.

It's a lie. His record is 34 convictions in one case, 4 guilty pleas from co-defendants in another, two unfinished prosecutions, and zero acquittals. lnk.thebulwark.com/41vcqGn

Nobel Laureates Urge Senate to Turn Down Kennedy’s Nomination Elevating Mr. Kennedy to secretary of H.H.S. “would put the public’s health in jeopardy,” more than 75 laureates wrote.

More than 75 Nobel Prize winners have signed a letter urging senators not to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President-elect Trump’s pick to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Allegory works best when it's reductive. Too many details (like fully-rounded characters) confuse the audience.

A Chinese national, charged with fraud by the SEC, just sent Donald Trump $18 million Chinese Crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun paid $6.2 million for a banana — sold by Sotheby's as conceptual art — and then ate it last Friday.

Call me crazy, but I think Justin Sun, a Chinese national being prosecuted for fraud by the SEC, sending Trump $18 million should be a bigger story

The direct enrichment of Trump by a foreign national weeks before he takes office has merited no coverage in the NYT or Washington Post

“open to Patel leading FBI” is euphemistic for turning the FBI into a domestic political surveillance operation designed to dig up dirt on reporters and the president’s critics and hopefully imprison them.
