I don’t understand the prevalence of posters on official fan pages of author who are anti-AI posting AI images of characters the “made.” Why would you do that?

I mean, the best part about math is how flexible it is. There’s no real cut and dry process to finding consistent results.
Follow me for helpful advice on how to achieve everything I’ve failed at doing as well as pithy attacks at people who have been “successful.”
I had a typo in a comment where I wrote “taking a bread” instead of “taking a break” and I was going to edit it but then I though, “Fuck it, they could use a carbs.”
Me: Well, at least the anxiety will lessen after the biopsy is done.
Doctor: You should have the results in 7-10 days.
(Not for me but a family member.)
I feel stories like this need more than a retired analyst on a podcast as a source. There are plenty of reasons to be wary of Trump, so
let’s at least try and verify them.
I have to be honest, the “Nuclear Codes” story just seems off to me. Like, I’m sure it could happen but I feel like we are getting fed a manipulated account of events.
In the hospital today for Ben’s biopsy. About an hour for the procedure and 3-5 hours waiting to make sure there’s no bleeding than a few days waiting for results.
Glad you liked it. Definely a fun listen.
I’ve only know my wife for about 5 years (our first date was April 25, 2021) but she is the only person I know who has more Leisure Horror paperbacks then me and can talk extensively about them I I didn’t even know this before we started dating.
A stack of books including Nate Kenton’s Sparrow Rock, Edward Lee’s Golem, Simon Clark’s Ghost Monster and Douglas Clegg’s Naomi. On top of the book is a zombie gnome.
Horror fans. Just bought a bunch of old Leisure Paperbacks. Which one should I start first?

How Crowley mondays…
I have to take Benjamin for a needle biopsy tomorrow and yeah, I know I have to take things a day at a time but man is my brain good at coming up with all the potential not great outcomes and fixating on each one. Oh, and let’s not forget all the peripheral issues each outcome will cause.
I’ve seen a few people talk about this but not sure exactly who says it’s a cash grab. My opinion, if you want to write the book and people want to read it, then do it and get paid for it.
Not that there is anything wrong with it. I just read some many “It’s amazing! The best ever!” I’m glad people love it and I’m glad I read it/saw it but in 20 years I won’t be putting it in my “Scifi movies you have to watch!” list.
Finally saw Project Hail Mary. I enjoyed it, but felt similiar to how I felt with the audiobook. It was a good story with great narration by @realrayporter.bsky.social but it felt like Scifi for people who don’t usually like scifi. The movie had some good moments but not a classic of the genre.
I love how nobody told @MaxBrooks that they are making a sequel to the movie not based on his book.
A polar woman doesn’t fuck a bear?
And yes there are some well established narrators that are also relatively well know actors like Wil Wheaton, Kate Mulgrew, Steven Weber and Will Patton.
One person responded “So your not a fan of actors getting acting jobs?” Ummm…. what? I prefer when they use a well established narrator over a well known actor. I have listened to too many “celebrity” narrations that are basically just “Big Name Hollywood actor just reads the book to you.”
My post was about how they chose Patton Oswalt to narrate the new Talisman book. I like Patton Oswalt but he just seemed like an odd choice. I then said I’m not a fan of celebrity narrators. Which I guess, is wrong to say.
I literally had someone say that I shouldn’t say “I’m not a fan of” but instead say that I prefer the other thing.
Facebook: Where you say you’re not a fan of something and a shit ton of people come on to tell you why your wrong.
Times are tight but we help each other when we can. Consider helping Candace. She’s an advocate for so many within the horror community and she needs us to be an advocate for her: bit.ly/4dQUw7q
It doesn’t help that the book I am listening to is good but it’s topical, dark and brutal and right now I’m tempted to stop and just read another Monk and Robot books but I’ve already read them.
We’ve had some bad family and pet health news and right now I just want to be surly and randomly scow at people whether I know them or not.
Unpopular Position: I find it annoying when people start
a post with “Unpopular Opinion:” Often it is neither unpopular nor an opinion. Typically it is an attempt to announce how much cleverer or edgier you are than other people.
Reviewing incident reports for potential residential transfers and one staff documented an outburst after the resident walked into the kitchen and “requested chicken nut-kegs.” Then later the resident was given “children nut-kegs” and calmed down.
They fed him nutkegs made out of children.
FB decided I should get posts from a group called “Happy Living” and I shut that shit down right way.
