I understand Trump is in construction so his initial inclination to improving the Kennedy Center is a $200 million construction project, but I believe it could be improved by 2 simple steps costing far less. 1) Remove Trump's name from the building; 2) Remove him and all his people from the board.
Now that Congress has voted to release the Epstein Files, I assume we'll be getting something like this:
Dear Congress Jeffrey was a boy who may have done bad things, but he did not know Donald Trump. The pictures and emails are lies.

I just had a tax return rejected because the Social Security Administration says he's dead. I think he'll be surprised to hear that when I talk to him tomorrow.
I'm afraid it's almost too late. He is defying the courts which have no ability to enforce their decisions. Republicans have abdicated their responsibility so who's going to stop him? It's what I was afraid would happen only faster, although I never thought he would threaten Canada.

Day one of the Trump administration did nothing to make me feel good about what is coming. The signals that were sent by not placing his hand on the Bible for the oath, an apparent N**i salute from one of his top advisors, and the executive orders that were signed are bad omens for what is coming.
I have been following the people I come across who are from the Chicago area and I believe have similar political beliefs. In the coming years we are going to need a network of local people to help get us through and this is a way to build that.
My hope, as Trump is inaugurated today, is that in 4 years I will have to say to my Trump supporting friends, "I'm sorry, you were right, he was not as bad as I expected" and not "you were warned, we tried to tell you, but you would not listen, you should not be surprised with what's happening".
As I get older I am discovering that being with people, particularly groups where I know almost everyone, takes a lot of energy out of me. I can only socialize so long without a break, 2-3 hours is my comfort zone, 4 hours is my limit. It's not that I don't like people, I just get worn out
