I’m looking forward to watching it in theaters again later this year with the added scenes. The first watch in the theater was perhaps my most memorable theater experience.

A horror movie in one photo:
We had 11 people show up for a casual @sorcerytcg.bsky.social meetup tonight. Some first games, some experienced sorcerers, but everyone had a great time.
Very exciting to be a part of growing the community locally.
I'd really like to see leadership calling for impeachment and removal, regardless of whether they have the votes to get it done. Same way we called for marriage equality before we had the votes. A leader's job is to lead. If a genocidal threat isn't impeachable, then nothing is.
Not if it’s a reasonably close game. If the winner had a decisive win, maybe.
I think it also depends on the game experience (game length, strategic game vs luck-based, playing with friends or not). I could see a situation where a winner initiated a fist bump. 👊
High fives by all in cooperative game victories. A loser-initiated fist bump in competitive games.
The obvious thing I got wrong was Strike damage isn’t considered an attack, so no card draw if a minion is killed.
What wasn’t as obvious to me was if I made Battlemage ranged, those ranged attacks still are not considered attacks to trigger his ability.
Geomancer deck would remove enemy mana.
Well, I had a four color Battlemage deck I really enjoyed, until I learned I was triggering his ability incorrectly.
Now I have a water Necromancer deck (of course) but I’m working on what I think might be an interesting budget earth/fire Geomancer deck (but it is untested).
Okay this one got me 😂

My March in-person plays were lead by Sorcery: Contested Realm, a TCG which plays like a tabletop game, and has been referred to as “Magic: The Gathering + chess”.
Looking sharp. Have fun!

I'm giving away 10 free copies of my critically-ignored trick-taker CVLT! It's, like, really good though?

It’s so good!
They all are in the “Three Men and a Baby” universe.
A side view of five games stacked on top of each other. Top to bottom: Revolve, Race for the Galaxy, Etherstone, Pan Am, Path of Light and Shadow.
This Friday is my turn to pick games for game night with friends. Here are my picks. How’d I do?
A) It’s $88m, not $100. Only $100 if he hits performance escalators, which means he (and ostensibly the Colts) are playing well.
B) Why cherry pick 5 games when he was dealing w/injury rather than all games?
C) If he doesn’t pan out, it’s only 2 yr. The next GM/coach combo can pick their new QB.
Country Joe McDonald passed away a few days ago. We need more singer-songwriters like him today to lead us in some healing “F” chants.

Woke up this morning and casually dropped a 64 in Space Base. New personal best.

Not a lot of time to play in person during February but still managed to get some good ones in.
Niceness is like a candle. It provides a bit of light, but if you’re freezing, it’s not much help. Kindness is the warmth of a fireplace on a freezing cold night.
Both are, well, nice… but one of them is necessary.
Made my first deck for Sorcery Contested Realm. Hoping to try it out soon. Can’t wait to learn how terrible it really is. But I bet I still have fun playing.

I hear you. The stockholders are the primary customer, the earnings are the only metric that matters.
Employees are numbers and expensive numbers, so why not just pay 2 to do the work of 3?
Capitalism is killing (most of) us.
My first two Sorcery: Contested Realm purchases: the Gothic preconstructed decks and a box of Arthurian Legends booster packs.
Welp, guess I’m a @sorcerytcg.bsky.social player now.
I want to thank people who took the time to read the document and watch the video I shared. It is also important to me that it is understood: I do not believe Matthew, Paula, Monique or Naveen (or anyone else) had involvement (or awareness) of the actions the owner of Game Night Picks took. 1/4
