It's so frustrating and sad

Those who've already drank the juice love to serve it to others and reinforce that garbage. "It looks good enough" is what these folks generating the art likely think, and the sycophants agree with them, but (hopefully) it's just that they don't know how bad it looks.

AI comes across as a "fun toy" to play with and a quick solution, especially when you can't see the problems. They may not have anyone in their circles who can point out why the AI is bad - not just bad art, but also bad ethically and environmentally. More rarely, they may not care.

For those of us not artistically inclined, who can just glance at art as a whole and not really "take in" the details, a lot of AI is unfortunately passable. It takes effort for us to learn and see why they're bad.

Like, I looked at a wip last night and all thoughts of whatever my idea was for the character just evaporated - that was the character now. It just was. Feedback? Yes please. More of that, thank you. Sometimes I'm a pain in the ass about little things, other times I'm just immediately on board.

I gotta say, I got some amazing art last night and received some great wip's as well for future art, and I'm super stoked. Artists are amazing.
