Vorige maand fotografeerde ik Mika (foto 1) voor mijn serie On Hold. Mika is 18 en wacht al dertien maanden op genderbevestigende zorg. Hen is niet de enige. Op dit moment staan er in Nederland 7000 mensen op een wachtlijst. Met mijn serie wil ik aandacht voor dit schrijnende onderwerp genereren.
