Totally agree! It’s been genuinely shocking to me. The level of entitlement is genuinely astounding. They act as though every aspect of the show is meant to follow their whims, and that their ship is the backbone of the entire story. A lot of it has to do with how young they are, I bet.

It really is WILD!! They handled it SO well, too! The other three recurring character deaths of that episode were horrifically brutal & not quick, & we were shown that brutality. W Siuan, not only was it a quick death, but we BARELY saw it. That feels like a conscious, respectful choice.

I mean, I’m sure more characters are going to get killed bc it’s the fantasy apocalypse TV show that’s been told they’re not allowed to collect characters like the books. So we should all be expecting more deaths. But that behavior is SO entitled & parasocial. It blows my mind!
