GARCIA: It was clear from the minute it started that the attorney general is trying to evade the subpoena. We asked her that question. Multiple members asked. She would not respond. She said she'll continue to follow the law. That is not a response

AOC: I think we know without a doubt that this is a war of choice—that Donald Trump has initiated all of these hostilities, killing American service members and innocent Iranians alike, and for no reason. He has a different reason every day.

Trump doesn’t think he needs Congress. Beyond the fact that Trump himself and his regime are a bunch of authoritarian grifters, this lies on the chest of every member of Congress.

Yeah so this seems really bad.

We'll see how long this sticks... but thank goodness this was blocked.

The president’s spokeswoman going on the president’s daughter-in-law’s interview program to lie about the effects of her efforts to strongarm other media outlets into changing a report damaging to the regime would be very recognizable to anyone who’s lived under authoritarianism.

Yeah no shit. That's what they want. Any and all groups of people who are not white men are not seen as equal in the eyes of this fascist regime. Another atrocious piece of legislation to set us back 100 years.

The Trump regime has gutted the US government. THIS is the fallout. They don’t give a fuck about veterans.

More and more, Trump is making US institutions behave like Putin’s Russian versions. This was an immediate military coverup of something that should have been admitted:

More and more rot.

Oh also it's not actually called that. It's still the DOD.

Hegseth and Co renaming the DOD to Dept. of War and then refusing to call it a war is rich. Not that this is the first time an admin refuses to use the "war" word because it would be a constitutional crisis not only on paper but on record.

Also according to @dropsitenews.com, it appears the US double tapped the school. We massacred them.

We are fighting Israel’s war. Trump got duped like the fool that he is to fight an authoritarians war. Hegseth has said as much. They aren’t hiding it and they don’t care to. The US government killed 150 children, and US soldiers have been killed as well. What a fucking nightmare scenario.

That’ll mean dipping into short term leave, which will mean 70% of my pay. Love living in this fucking stupid ass country that can spend a billion dollars a day on a stupid fucking war and yet here I am worrying about pennies and my hurt back.

The pain is basically hovering around an 8-9 broaching on a 10 in some moments of movement.

Anyways this sucks being American who has to work to have healthcare. I’m now probably going to urgent care, I’m trying to balance PTO, and even starting to wonder if I’ll need to take ext time off.

I felt it and thought, okay maybe this is just how it goes? I’ve had a back issue for 10 years but it’s rare for it to get like this and I’d never felt THIS particular pain in this spot. (All lower back area). All I know is I can’t be on my feet for more than a few minutes.

Went to the docs to be safe and he put me on a medication/stretching routine. I’ve been doing that since. Last night something shifted and it got way worse really fast. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t move a certain way or lift anything. The area of the pain just shifted.

A few weeks ago I hurt my back pretty bad. At first it was just sore and tight. Then it got to the point where anything shifty resulted in immediate pain… it would shoot up to like a 6-7 out of 10. That felt pretty bad. Took a day off from work and was able to get it down and went back the next day.

I’m so tired of seeing people bash Bluesky for being an echo chamber when X is an actual intentionally constructed echo chamber that is demonstrably radicalizing people across the political spectrum who still use it

Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM

As casual as it all seems sometimes, seeing a sitting senator say this shouldn’t go unnoticed.
