I have grandparents buried in Arlington and Roanoke and parents buried in Fairfax so I mean this nice when I say how offensive I found the “don’t Fairfax us” signs down 81 and in other places. Reality is without Fairfax, the Commonwealth would be a state and one a lot like Mississippi.

It is one of the great disappointments of my life that someone I supported so fervently, Tim Kaine, has indeed turned out to be useless (at best) and dangerous in his disregard for democracy. History will not be kind to him.

It’s hard not to see Vance’s criticism of the Pope’s theological bona fides as just silly hubris.
