Albania: What good staging and the separation of red and black and white between the two. It’s really good. The comparison of the two voices and the light and dark is really well done. #eurovision2025

San Marino: the backdrop at the start looked horribly AI for me. I know the DJ is the named person here but surely the singers should be the main act. The DJ isn’t doing anything special. (No offence to any DJ’s!) too many issues for me. #eurovision2025

France: who tidies up all the cork. An accidental strong breeze will ruin everyone’s night. But saying that it’s a good song from France and the staging is really simple and yet really memorable and powerful. #eurovision2025

Sweden: Super Catchy. No one is going to forget this one. It’s not the best song but everything about it just shouts Eurovision. The one on the left looks like a very young David Mitchell. Think it’ll be top three. #eurovision2025

Made in Switzerland is better than most songs this year. #eurovision2025

Denmark: Has the advantage of coming after Portugal which would add a few points into most songs this year. Mid card for me. Okay song and well sung but The camera work is really distracting. Lovely costume though. #eurovision2025

Portugal: Nope. I do not see many factors here which makes it good. I don’t know why it beat so many others at the first semi final. It’s one of the weakest song at a final. Sorry. #eurovision2025

Malta: Pushing the family friendly boundaries here with a hugely memorable song, huge lips and legs akimbo. good chance to be the winner. #eurovision2025

Switzerland: I can understand making a big deal of a “one shot” tv show (Adolescence) but for 3 minute song it’s not exactly special. Great voice but not memorable and we are unlikely to return to this country next year. #eurovision2025

Armenia: I am struggling to know why I like this one so much. The guy is good looking. The use of the treadmill is nice and the use of stark black and whites is memorable. The song isn’t the best and the laughing bit in the middle is odd. But I do like it. #eurovision2025

Greece: Stark staging with the dock and the rock which turns into a fiery inferno. The imagery is really nice. But I didn’t think it would even get through the semi finals. Props to the graphics designers though #eurovision2025

Germany: Oh I’m sorry why do I never like your songs. I did like the very close up staging bits and the light up instruments are nice but it isn’t lighting me on fire. The song is catchy though which counts for something. #eurovision2025

Poland: The Dancers here are the high point. They also had some funny moments in the green room during the semi final. And they are very good eye candy. The song itself is less good but the dragon is nice. But she’s just hanging in front of it. Think there could have been more.…

Ukraine: 🇺🇦 I really like this one, the singer has a good voice, the hand/lights are nice, the costume is a bit off the wall but if I had legs like that I’d probably wear skinny trousers as well. Hope it does well. #Eurovision2025

Italy: absolute bonkers and the subtitles totally needed to sell the craziness of the lyrics. But I think it’s probably one of the better entries. Nothing special with staging just a good song very well sung. #eurovision2025

Finland: Very memorable. She’s clearly got a great voice and a great personality. It’s not my type of song but it is very catchy and it’s being done with style. Staging is superb. The flying microphone is great. #eurovision2025

Netherlands: A very good singer who clearly put his heart into the performance with a lot of movement. The problem is that many people may forget it by the end of the night. It’s lovely though. #eurovision2025

Latvia: Babylon Five’s Minbari are back. Either that or they stole some props from Doctor Who’s prop department. The harmonies are really good and the staging is simple and yet very effective. Grown on me a lot since I last heard it. #Eurovision2025

Iceland: Icelandic Jedward have a song which has grown on me a bit since the semi final. But like a mold or fungus the growth doesn’t actually help. It’s not as bad as I thought but it’s not going to win. #eurovision2025

Austria: I’m sorry but I cannot understand the hype for this song. It’s the second dirge and while stylistically it’s nice. The black and white boat theme. The staging is superb for a song which really doesn’t hit the spot for me. Submerged I’m afraid. #eurovision2025

United Kingdom: the UK isn’t known for inventive staging but it’s better than most years, but with an actually really good song with good singers. It will probably come lower down the table because that’s how we roll but I liked it. #eurovision2025

Oh Hazel. For being “the comedian” you’re really not funny. I miss Petra. #eurovision2025

The best host gets to relive one of her really nice moments and sing her Eurovision song again on the stage. And she’s still the best host of the three #Eurovision2025

Spain: someone borrowed Melanie Trump’s hat for the performance. She’s got a great voice and the backing dancers are really going for it. Really powerful voice. Catchy song. Won’t win but I loved it! #eurovision2025

Lithuania: First funeral dirge of the night. I do like the pictures on the screen behind him and that is the best thing I can say about the song. The rest is in some sort of purgatory. #eurovision2025

Estonia: It’s quirky, and I know what they were going for but the actual performer is just not grabbing me. The two security guards are well in character I just wish the song was performed by someone else. #eurovision2025

Luxembourg: The start of the staging is brilliant here, pity it doesn’t keep in that vein. She plays a doll fairly well with great mannerisms. Sadly the song isn’t as good as the graphics designers. #eurovision2025

Norway : Great looking backup dancers and a post apocalyptic setting is very interesting. Love the monolith and the song is very good as well. Fire! Burning! #eurovision2025
