agree - the shenanigans with the owner and her husband took me out of the story and I zoned out - reminded me of how I felt about the boring Packard mill storyline in Twin Peaks

OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.

Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

Such a weird brag. Humans who run races don't run to beat machines. Cars go faster than us, as do horses, for that matter. A robot beating a human record doesn't change that record. As a feat of engineering it's impressive until I ask what the applications are, because I can't think of benign ones.

I was mostly hitched to Peel's wagon but enjoyed the overlap in their tastes when Radio 1 aired them back-to-back in the mid- '90s. Much like when Riley and Coe still had their own shows it provided a solid musical education over 4-5 hours.

"I would rather w**k with a razor".

Pretty clear response from bloke in Wales when asked if he would consider voting Reform...

The man from Reform (who took it in good spirits tbf) is Zak Weaver, a former Tory staffer who defected in February.

New material from Tom Waits, Massive Attack *and* Boards of Canada, plus official announcement of Neko Case's Thelma and Louise musical, in a single day? Might need a lie-down after all the excitement.

This whole set of reports is a disgusting focus for Today and the whole of the BBC, who could be focusing on the pressure on migrants an the lack of safe routes

The battle against Trump is a battle against genocide He must be stopped. That is the task of all right-thinking people.

This shows a fundamental misunderstanding of Trump and the people around him. They don't give a single solitary shit about those who have gone before them. They are Year Zero, fundamentalist lunatics. America failed to understand that fact last time they voted and that's why we are where we are.
