Finally- the beautiful weather and my being at work over that way today, meant that I got the chance to get to Wymeswold for the extra special St Mary's church. WE GOT MARRIED HERE 😜😊😍 which is why it's terrible that I left it this long! Number 101...and I'm back in the game. Summer 2026 🌞

Church drawing on tour! For my first offering of the year, here's St Materiana's Church in Tintagel. I hiked along the coastal path with my sketchbook to relish an afternoon drawing. My winter hibernation is over so back to Leicestershire churches very soon!! 😁
Back to school now so will struggle to draw for a bit but it's nice to see things like this: my Holy Trinity, Barrow upon Soar print up in a living room.
Couldn't resist! Drew the beautiful Parish church at Rhuddlan, North Wales, while on holiday. Attended Sunday service half way through doing this which was a nice ice breaker. Such a friendly congregation who told me all about it (700 years old). #stmaryschurch #Rhuddlan

Wow. I did a lap of the church and spotted what must have been the leper squint... fascinating!!!! It was one of those churches that made me want to touch the stones.. the history was palpable. Thank you 🙏

All Saints church, Kimcote (near Lutterworth) today. Only used a 01 unipin for this one which has given it the look of finer detail I think. Loved looking up from the bottom of the hill.

Finally got to draw another one of the churches I see on my commute to work most days! St Mary in the Elms, Woodhouse (what a lovely name) was great to stare at for a couple of hours. Delighted to meet the vicar too as she came over to see me and made me feel very welcome.
