Top speed is 64 KPH. Three variants are available.

I don't normally post live updates on drama but I woke up this morning to find out that I've been blocked by a veteran game developer because I called him out for not reaching out, rushing to judgement and not understanding how public policy works.

All I have is LMAO.

To be frank, I do not think he's arguing in good faith so be prepared for some answer that gets away from his original 3 assertions:

1. That this initiative isn't thinking out every single consequence
2. That Ross Scott is acting in bad faith
3. A basic misunderstanding of how laws are created.

So yeah, where exactly was he acting in good faith? Did you reach out to him?

I knew you weren't arguing in good faith before when you said Ross wasn't acting in good faith and gave no examples, but now I know you're not.

The Pixiu from TRO 3145: Capellan Confederation. The Pixiu is 70 ton tank from Aldis Industries that first went into production in 3093. It’s armed with both a Gauss rifle and a Thunderbolt 5 launcher in the turret along with a flamer mounted in the front so if any pesky infantry or Battle Armor/Elementals get too close feel free to light them on fire. In a shock to no one (Capellan, remember?) it’s protected by 11 tons of stealth armor and its requisite ECM suite. 10 single heat sinks try to keep the crew compartment from becoming a broiler and the 350 XL engine propels it to a top speed of 86 KPH. It carries 2 tons of ammunition for the Gauss rifle but just a single ton of reloads for the T-Bolt launcher. There are currently no variants of the Pixiu available.

Experts in fields affected, from business to consumer rights to workers and developer professional groups will get involved. The initiative is to even START this conversation in the EU parliament.

Also, all laws will have unintended consequences but I would rather consumer rights actually be protected and not everything be a "you rent and you will like it".

Like he has explained this several times, as his background is unironically in criminal law and thus on a legal basis he is focused on.

He's openly stated and asked for developers to jump in and help refine everything but he also involved lawyers in every part of the process.

You fundamentally do not understand what an initiative is in the sense of public policy and government.

For the EU, the initiative system is the first step to a lengthy process that creates committees which have all vest members of interest involved.
