Every time I get on here and want to say something I end up not saying it because I'm still emotionally scarred from X even though I deleted my account 4 years ago 😭

watching one film a day every day in 2025.

first watch of the year: white sun of the desert, 1970, USSR, dir. vladimir motyl

apparently it was a hit when it came out in the soviet union. i dont think it aged very well. still kinda a fun watch.

"content" is a euphemism for everything online that numbs us and is also a term that devalues everything on the internet that's actually thought provoking. throwing everything under this vague category "content" is reckless. content is my enemy

we need to stop calling art "content" and artists "content creators" and if the content you're looking at/watching isn't art or educational then it's just slop and we need to start coming to terms with that

I decided that in 2025 I will watch a film every single day and I don't know how I'm gonna do it yet but it's happening. Please drop movie recommendations

The film taking place over the winter holiday season, a time when people crave familial bonds, was part of what legitimized Ani's fantasy to her. So ya it's a Christmas movie
