Yes. My Spotify wrapped was horribly skewed for most listened to artist in terms of like actual preference.

Have you heard the Lord Huron song with August Ponthier, I Lied? Very much recommend. Very much a storyline waiting to be a novel.

I have 5 chapters left in this first draft and the end has never looked further away 😅
My current state in this hike up the hill:
You should listen to the entire album 🫠 Talk about inspiration for devastating relationships and plot lines. Unreal Unearth: Unending.
First Time by Hozier for Father Matthias and Ruin. It even works if you replace “baby” with “Mattie.” ❤️
It inspired some prose:
As it was, is, and ever shall be.
Yet it wasn’t. No longer what it was, should be, or had been. Wunder. Divine change.

Never change.
I’m sorry 😂 the more that went on. So maybe not helpful at all. You know 😅 I’d love an Aussie take on my interpretation of the US public library system.
Wait I love everything about that shirt description and want more details. Slutty 👀❤️
I volunteer myself as beta reader 🙋🏻♀️
Randomness. A song led to a priest love story. I don’t do horror or darkness so it became tender strange. I didn’t want modern day setting. And I was forced to pick a specific year because I found an archive with the accurate prayers. I considered gothic at first so had Bavaria.
It just happened 🤷🏻♀️
So much research 🙃 I am not Catholic. The pageantry of Mass has astounded me. There are wardrobe changes!! I’ve also put in the incorrect harvesting timeline for the various grains…so that will need fixing in revision.
Oh no. Don’t open the door 🫣 I finished the Q project and started the WIP in the same year. I have…5 others in early stages…
BUT! I am a rotational drafter. And some of those WIPs have like 2 chapters and are now waiting for their turn.
They all vary in genre but I obsess over the same themes.
It’s a women’s fiction wrapped in - romance. Lots of interior. I won’t pretend it’s a genre/trope romance. But the romance is central and very present. Lots of yearning. Lots of not yets. I struggle on the spiciness. It has explicit scenes (both solo and partnered) BUT the language is not explicit??
I will read your non-plot stories anytime. Anyone looking at my priest romance will be sorely disappointed by the amount of Latin and Mass.

Q: Contemporary Women’s Fic Romance—solidly adult, upmarket. (If I ever fade to black please know I’ve been body snatched).
1) Small town
2) Instant attraction, slow burn in execution. He’s her boss, it’s complicated.
3) Dual POV (but his POV is late in the game and DEVASTATING).
Hi again, Frankie.
WIP: Historical speculative romance—very adult, literary.
1) Small town (rural 1749 bavaria)
2) Instant but complicated by deep-seated Catholic guilt and repression.
3) One POV

Oh love that! My work also skews upmarket/literary. Because what is plot and pacing when my character can think for a chapter.
I wish i was a librarian. But if you mean someone else, please tell me who. I have questions! I’m just a worker in the labor movement—yay unions!
I have a feeling the making out is the best parts.
Hi! My drafting project is a queer romance. Looking forward to hearing more about yours!
And because I can’t help myself. I am querying a women’s fic romance.
Librarian by day, camgirl by night. A suspicious subscriber, a censorship-happy board member, and a buttoned up (utterly devastating) boss force her two halves on the same shelf.
Hi! I am a writer with too many WIPs. I promise to keep it focused—they all have romance! Because kisses are fun.
I am near done with a draft for a historical/spec. 1749 Bavaria. A priest. A shapeshifting nature spirit. And a rather challenging, hot summer.

Absolutely wonderful and engaging. Creative premise that shows a whole new side to science fiction ❤️ And characters I still think about!

Makes sense ☕️ I have a barista bff in mine so get to play with it a little, too.
I love everything about this! Good luck on the querying :) I hope it leads to this on shelves!
Yes to postpartum rage! Never have I ever experienced such flashes of anger.
I want to read this book. For the goat! :)
Oh LOVE that poster and the triplet in the coffee cup!
Me too 😅 it just needs to finish itself. Almost!
