A “Golden Ticket” business card with my name on, thanking me for my hard work today!

Today I led 2 walking talking mocks for Y11 foundation students, to help them to better method select & attack the questions in the second half of the paper.
I’m exhausted and hate the sound of my own voice 😂 but it went well enough for me to get a “Golden Ticket” from SLT ☺️😂 nice to be recognised!

This was genuinely a childhood dream come true for me. Being in an actual studio?! Recording a song!? With a scouse legend?! Surreal.
And now the song is out in the world with my actual voice in the mix. What the heck. 🤯

In a little cafe in the Dales and there’s a guy on the table next to us that is raging about the content of the maths GCSE being “for the 5%, not the 95%”
He wants it to be scaled back to basic numeracy and then to tag on economics and business studies and things you need for the “real world”…

So weird. I got one for L2 Extended which I’ve accepted now, but nothing for GCSE…

Same with me last year! This year, nothing!
