Thanks! I've been a storm spotter for 26 years, and absolutely hate the inconsistency across counties/metro areas about how sirens are activated, and how many people rely on them even when inside.

Lucky you! I only got a downspout and a garden flag from my neighbors.

I just had this conversation on another platform. My county sounded its sirens but there was no tornado warning for us, "just" a severe thunderstorm warning. I am curious why that decision was made.

Reminds me of my college dorm with smokers and skateboarders outside (also random "Ogg sucks!" wafting through the air).
